i love yous is a series of portraits documenting 24 people whom I have told "I love you" to. each person was invited to my studio for a portrait sitting, where they posed for me for an hour or two. each portrait followed a set of two rules:

          1) intuitively choose colour of sitter's aura as background colour.

          2) let sitter choose preferred positioning for painting, and encourage comfortability (with tea and the music of their choosing).
