Scan Piece is a video work inspired by the act of scanning - the process of transforming physical material into digital information. The work explores how the objects we wear, like clothing, jewelry, and makeup, become extensions of the body that communicate aspects of our identity while concealing others. Through this process of layering and removal, Scan Piece reflects on how identity is shaped through what we choose to reveal and what remains unseen.
